Sum’Arts for Kids, held annually from June to August, provides quality and affordable arts instruction to youth. For more than three decades, the program has engaged local teaching artists to work with Kodiak kids in theatre, music, dance, and the literary & visual arts.

For the summer of 2020, Sum’Arts will follow a distance delivery model. Registered families will pick up a unique kit of arts supplies designed to support the activities of each class. Students will meet with teaching artists via Zoom in small group settings. A typical class will include five x one-hour mini lessons with lots of support and ideas for being creative at home!
